Having a good experience
From Burnwiki, a Burning Man Wiki & Brain Dump
Wanted: Always wanted: Your tips on having a great experience at Burning Man
- Don't pressure yourself to have a great time all of the time.
- Leave your bike at camp once in a while. You'll interact with more people, see different things, and altogether experience things differently than if you were on foot. You can also jump art cars more easily if you don't need to worry about leaving your bike behind.
- Many people have a crash several days into the event. When it comes, don't fight it, sleep as much as you need to, and just chill out.
- Start talking about the night's plans around dinner time. Everyone hears about different things.
- If you lose someone, don't spend too much time looking for them, and don't stress about it (unless you're minding them.) Chances are you won't be able to find them again until morning, so have a good time and don't waste your time on this. Or, be patient. People turn up when you least expect it.
- Acclimate yourself before you leave for the playa.
