You drink a lot. You dance a lot, and don't drink enough water. You get a hangover.

Preventing Hangovers

  • Make sure you drink enough water. This is the main thing that can help preventing a hangover. If you're pissing clear, you will generally be fine in the morning. Carrying a hydration pack will help you keep hydrated.
  • Make sure you're consuming enough electrolytes. Sweating and drinking a lot tends to flush them out.

Curing Hangovers

Waking up at 9:30am in an oven-like tent with a hangover is no fun. Here are a few ways, to help get past that hangover:

  • Soup for breakfast. Soup is easy to fix (drink it out of a jar or can), will help re-hydrate you, and tends to contain plenty of electrolytes.
  • Find a hammock to nap in.
  • Eat something spicy. This tends to dilate your blood vessels and get more blood to your brain.
  • A combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofen has a synergistic effect and is more effective than a double dose of either.
