Grey water

Grey water is waste water. It can come from many sources, but regardless of the perceived cleanliness of the source, should never be dumped on the playa. Some of the many sources of grey water are:
- Cooking Water
- Cooler Water
- Dish Water
- Showers
Disposing of Grey Water
Disposing of grey water requires a little thought and planning. Various methods include:
- Evaporation ponds, which are quick and easy to build, but will handle a limited volume.
- Sometimes, it's necessary to scoop out water remaining in an evaporation pond. Save your water jugs and caps for containers to haul it out.
- Disposal tanks, which can be either trucked out, or emptied by Johnny on the Spot for a fee.
