Wanted: More info on Gerlach, including resources available during Burning Man, and the relationship between Burning Man and the Gerlach community.
Gerlach is the town nearest to Burning Man. It's very small and contains only minimal resources for Burning Man participants. Gerlach has one expensive gas station(Bruno's) a bar with 3 pay phones(2005-Bruno's) a small motel(Bruno's)
and no grocery store. A BM LLC office is near the Gerlach water tower.
The nearest grocery/general store(also with gas station) is about 8 miles south in Empire. Do not count on getting any supplies in Gerlach or at the Empire Store as resources are very minimal.
Tip: If you need gas buy it on the way in for the event. Exit traffic is likely to overwhelm facilities in this area.
