Overview
When you sweat and urinate, your body loses electrolytes. Because of the heat and alcohol consumption, one tends to lose electrolytes more quickly on the playa than in other circumstances. This means that you should be careful to consume what you need - but on the other hand, consuming too many electrolyte supplements can also be harmful. For example, it's recommended that no more than two packets of Emergen-C be consumed in a day.
If one starts to feel overheated, immediately dump water on your head and bypass the ingest water/balance electrolytes/sweat/cool cycle, then start to rehydrate by drinking water and injesting electrolytes.

- Pickles
- Instant Miso (Also, most soups are very salty.)
- Sports Drinks
- Spicy Tomato Juice
