A Bloody Mary is a spicy, salty tomato juice and vodka drink. It's great for the playa (particularly for breakfast) because the salt will help you keep more water in your system. The spiciness can also be good for treating a hangover.

Gnome Camp is known to serve particularly good bloody marys.
Quick and Dirty Bloody Mary Recipe
There are well made Bloody Marys and there are easily made Bloody Marys. Here's the easiest way to make one on the playa:
- Open a can of spicy tomato juice, preferably chilled
- Drink some off of the top
- Pour in vodka, to taste
- Swirl or shake can
- Drink!
If you have other traditional ingredients handy, you can add them:
- Lemon juice
- Worcestershire sauce
- Celery Salt
- Tabasco (if the spicy tomato juice isn't spicy enough to begin with)
- Pepper (again, if the spicy tomato juice isn't spicy enough to begin with)
