Since water is a scarce resource on the playa, baby wipes are great for cleaning hands feet, etc. throughout the week. Someone staying from Monday to Monday can easily use two boxes of baby wipes.
Remember to take a small ziplock baggie to seal-up a used wipe after freshening-up after using a porta-pottie; the baggie stays with you and goes into the garbage to be packed out. Please Please do not discard wipes in the Porta-potties. This is very important. Baby wipes can jam the pumps and strainers used by the pottie cleaning service.
What to Look For
- Moisturizing baby wipes make a great two-fer.
- Cotton or other natural fiber baby wipes can be burned. Not so for ones made from synthetic materials.
- "Wet Ones" can be very drying.
